My name is Maarten Bons, Senior IT Consultant at YER. In this role, I connect IT professionals with organizations seeking reinforcement, innovation, and growth. My strength lies in building long-term relationships, uncovering the question behind the question, and delivering tailored solutions that truly make a difference.

With a background in hospitality and a Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Hospitality Management from the Hotel Management School Maastricht, I’ve developed a sharp eye for customer experience, process optimization, and people-centered work. During my studies, I gained international experience and learned how to maintain oversight and deliver quality in complex environments.

After graduating, I worked for several years in the hospitality and events industry, where I learned the importance of exceeding expectations. I carried that service-oriented mindset with me into the world of recruitment. At Experis Netherlands, I held various commercial roles, from Business Developer to Team Lead Sales. During that time, I led teams, developed sales strategies, and guided professionals in their careers.

Since 2025, I’ve been applying my experience and network at YER, where I advise organizations on their IT challenges and help them attract the right professionals. At the same time, I support candidates in finding new opportunities that align with their ambitions, personality, and potential.

What sets me apart is my genuine interest in people and my ability to quickly get to the heart of the matter. I believe successful recruitment starts with active listening, clear communication, and keeping your promises. My goal is always to add value — for both client and candidate.
