You and your jobAs a Medior Data Scientist / Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you play a key role in building and scaling machine learning solutions that support the lifecycle of Rabobank’s business clients.
Think of models that help predict customer churn, benchmark businesses using internal and external data, or identify the next best product for a client.
You won’t just build prototypes — you’ll take models all the way to production. Together with the team, you design robust data pipelines, improve model performance, and ensure solutions are scalable, reliable and maintainable.

You and your talent
For the Medior Data Scientist
- At least 4 years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar role
For the Senior Machine Learning Engineer
- At least 6 years of experience as an ML Engineer or similar role
You also bring:
- Strong experience with machine learning and statistical modelling (especially tree-based and clustering models)
- Curiosity for working with complex datasets and turning them into meaningful features
- Experience with model deployment, monitoring and MLOps/DevOps practices
- Strong programming skills and experience writing production-ready code (Python / PySpark)
Additional experience that helps:
- Databricks and PySpark
- Cloud platforms (preferably Azure)
- Git and CI/CD pipelines
- ETL processes, data pipelines, databases and data lakes
- Experience optimizing pipelines and improving code quality (for senior profile)
- Familiarity with Kedro (nice to have)
- Basic banking knowledge (nice to have)
And of course:
- Strong communication skills in English
- A curious mindset and the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders
