In this role, you support global operational excellence by creating reliable, high‑quality process documentation that enables consistency, compliance, and efficiency across the organization.
As a Process Specialist, you are responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing HR process documentation. You work closely with process owners and subject‑matter experts to translate complex processes into clear, structured workflows and guidelines. You help ensure that Vanderlande’s global HR processes remain compliant, well‑governed, and continuously improved.
Process Documentation
- Develop, maintain, and standardize process documentation such as workflows, SOPs, and guidelines.
- Ensure all documentation is clear, accurate, and aligned with organizational standards.
- Create visual process maps using tools like Visio or BPM platforms.
Process Analysis & Improvement
- Partner with process and subject‑matter experts to capture current processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Conduct gap analyses to confirm alignment with business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Support the implementation of process changes and update related documentation.
Governance & Compliance
- Maintain version control and ensure documentation is stored in central repositories.
- Monitor adherence to documented processes and escalate deviations where needed.
- Safeguard compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Training & Communication
- Provide training and guidance on documentation standards and best practices.
- Communicate process changes and updates clearly to stakeholders.

You thrive in structured environments, have strong analytical skills, and ensure accuracy in everything you produce. You recognize yourself in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in process documentation and process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, BPM software) and MS Office.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Preferred: experience with BPM tools and knowledge of quality/compliance frameworks.
- Comfortable working with cross‑functional teams in a dynamic environment.
