What you can expect

Once you start with a Dutch employer, your YER consultant informs us immediately. We then take care of all official documentation, such as your IND application. If you wish, we also arrange practical matters like housing, a bank account, insurance, schools for your children, useful tips, and more.

As soon as you land at Schiphol, your contact person will meet you and take you to your new home. We make sure you can move in right away, so there is no need to stay in a hotel or temporary accommodation.

During your stay in the Netherlands, we are here to support you. Whether you want to move, buy a home, take a language course, or explore your career growth opportunities, we think along with you and help you move forward.

Step by step plan for expats

You join YER

Your consultant informs us about your arrival. Together with your dedicated contact person, you plan an introduction to organize your stay as smoothly as possible.

Introduction meeting

We discuss your preferences and provide an overview of all key arrangements: IND, housing, utilities, public transport cards, schools, and more.

Arrival at the airport

Your contact person will personally pick you up and guide you to your new home. All action points from step 2 will have been arranged.

Official documents and bank account

The day after you arrive, or as soon as possible, you will have appointments to obtain your BSN, residence permit, and open your bank account.
