This role sits at the intersection of engineering, consulting, and strategy. As an AI Engineer / AI Consultant, you design and deploy advanced ML and generative AI solutions, while guiding organizations in adopting and scaling AI across their core operations. You work hands-on with models, data pipelines, cloud platforms, and MLOps tooling, and you translate complex business questions into high-impact AI applications.
You will operate in a fast-moving, international environment where engineering quality, strategic thinking, and technical clarity matter. Expect autonomy, responsibility, and the chance to work on AI systems that move beyond prototypes and into real production.
What You Will Do
AI Engineering
- Design, implement, and deploy machine learning and generative AI models.
- Build scalable training and inference pipelines using modern cloud and MLOps tooling.
- Maintain and monitor production AI systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Work with large datasets to build predictive models and extract actionable insights.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and set engineering standards for AI solutions.
- Explore new ML techniques, including LLMs, agentic systems, vectorization, and retrieval pipelines.
AI Consulting & Enablement
- Translate business challenges into practical AI use cases with measurable value.
- Support clients in adopting, integrating, and scaling AI solutions in their organizations.
- Run workshops, solution sessions, and stakeholder briefings with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Identify opportunities to optimize processes and IT platforms using AI.
- Shape AI roadmaps, documentation, and guidelines for responsible AI integration.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Your Background
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, AI, or equivalent experience.
- Professional experience in machine learning, AI engineering, or data-driven development.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with SQL.
- Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or Keras.
- Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong analytical skills, clear communication, and the ability to work in diverse teams.
Preferred
- Master’s degree or PhD in AI, ML, or related field.
- Experience with generative AI, large language models, vector databases, and prompt optimization.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with (big) data technologies (Databricks, Spark, Hadoop).
- Experience with APIs, distributed systems, and production deployments.
- Contributions to open-source projects or published work in the AI/ML domain.
- Basic knowledge of enterprise IT platforms (e.g., SAP, Microsoft ecosystems).
Technical Skill Set
Programming: Python, SQL; exposure to Java or C++ is a plus.
- ML / DL: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, scikit-learn.
- Data Science: NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn.
- Cloud: AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, Azure ML.
