Support Amgen's executive leaders as Executive Assistant
As a Senior Executive Assistant within the Operations department, you will play a key role in supporting the Site Lead and Leadership Team. This high-impact position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic, international environment. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth coordination, communication, and execution of daily operations and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide autonomous and proactive executive support to the Site Lead and Leadership Team.
- Plan and coordinate internal and external events, including high-level meetings, site visits, and celebrations.
- Lead internal communications efforts, including drafting announcements, newsletters, and presentations in line with corporate standards.
- Manage office operations and collaborate with other assistants, offering guidance where needed.
- Oversee financial and administrative processes, including invoicing and payments.
- Represent Amgen Breda professionally when hosting internal and external visitors.

At Amgen Breda, medicines are labelled, assembled, stored, and eventually shipped to various countries worldwide. Every day more than 1000 people from 42 different nationalities are working on supply chain processes, manufacturing, marketing, and sales of our medicines and clinical research into new medicines.
Secondment via YER based on the excellent conditions at Amgen within their Collective Labor Agreement:
- An agreement for 32-40 hours a week
- Salary range between €3920,- and €4130,- based on a fulltime workweek
- 25 vacation days
- 8,33% holiday bonus
- Travel expenses or reimbursement public transportation
- Pension
Must-Have
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in administrative roles, with at least 5 years supporting senior executives.
- Proven ability to manage complex schedules, communications, and priorities independently.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Dutch.
- Experience in a multinational, scientific, or regulated environment.
- Comfortable working across cultures and adapting communication styles accordingly.
Preferred
- Experience mentoring or leading other assistants.
- Familiarity with business areas such as logistics, clinical research, or safety.
- Strong interpersonal skills — confident, approachable, and able to build trust quickly.
