Your Role
As an IT Infra Architect you will be responsible for the design and delivery of the IT infrastructure for a customer system, participating from Sales to Service Take Over. You will play a crucial role in analysis of customer requirements and cybersecurity regulations. You will translate these into suitable designs and advise on the impact these have on other disciplines as well. You will be collaborating with enthusiastic colleagues all over the world to create infrastructure solutions that exceed customer expectations.
Your department
You will be part of the Airports IT Solutions department, which is responsible to design and deliver IT as part of our customer solution delivery. Our delivery forms an integral part of the automated material handling systems that we install for our customers and is based on Microsoft/Linux standards, VMware, Kubernetes, Cisco, Siemens, Lenovo, Fortinet and HPE hardware.

Furthermore:
- You understand (inter)national cybersecurity regulations like NIS2, NIST, IEC62443 and the Cyber Resilience Act and can translate these into practice
- You will learn to understand Vanderlande products and practices and give feedback learned from customers on improving these to meet market demands
- You carry out, as an expert, the requirements analysis and translate these into a IT Infrastructure design and network architecture
- You add enablers for remote access, security, operation systems, virtualization, … etc.
- You analyse the system structures according to the project requirements and coordinate the infrastructure changes or system adaptations.
- You, as an advisor, support projects during execution and you support our sales team in the offer phase.
Your Profile
- You have a Bachelor/master level in a relevant field, e.g. Computer Science or Information Technology.
- You have 10 years of work experience in industrial IT infrastructure implementations. Having Airport Baggage Handling knowledge is an advantage.
- You have experience in designing complex server / client structures based on current Windows / Linux systems and virtualization and/or containerization technology.
- You have experience with security standards like NIS2, NIST, IEC62443 and the Cyber Resilience Act.
- Knowledge of cloud technology (Azure) and containerization using CNAP, Docker, Kubernetes and Helm are an advantage.
- Having hardware knowledge of HPE, Fortinet and Cisco is an advantage.
- Have a positive, hands on and can-do attitude.
- Be fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Be willing to travel worldwide (indication: 5% of the time).
- Be able to work with Agile teams.
- Be a team player.
- Be a natural technical leader with strong communication, presentation and influencing skills.
