About the Role
Step into one of the few roles in the Netherlands where you can work on large-scale IAM challenges, using advanced tools in a highly complex environment. You’ll join a tight-knit team of 3-5 dedicated solution architects, tasked with designing and implementing the future state of Identity & Access Management (IAM) to meet our ambitious 2026 goals.
IAM ensures that employees have appropriate and secure access to systems and data, preventing security risks and supporting compliance with regulations. Our IAM landscape is modern and mature, leveraging platforms such as One Identity and CyberArk, and expanding into innovative solutions like Axiomatics for PBAC. We’re building towards an IAM platform that is cloud-native, seamless for end users, and fully integrated for IT teams.
Your Contribution
You will be responsible for translating IAM strategy into concrete architecture and specifications. Collaborating closely with product owners, DevOps teams, and various internal stakeholders, you will define architecture blueprints and ensure alignment across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop IAM solution architectures and designs aligned with business and security requirements
- Leverage experience with reference architectures and coordinate with Business Architects, Risk teams, and Cyber Defense experts
- Create and maintain architectural documentation, including solution design and technical requirements
- Drive adoption of cloud-based IAM capabilities
- Contribute to innovative IAM topics such as PBAC and advanced analytics
- Provide expert guidance to DevOps teams and ensure implementation quality
- Remain up to date with IAM trends and integrate these into architecture decisions
Who You Are
You are passionate about delivering high-quality IAM solutions and thrive in a collaborative environment. You continuously seek improvement and aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo.
Your Profile
- 5-10 years’ experience in designing and implementing IAM/IGA solutions in enterprise environments
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and their IAM features
- Familiarity with tools such as One Identity (preferred), CyberArk, and others
- In-depth knowledge of IAM protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, LDAP, SCIM, etc.)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Azure Security Engineer – AZ-500)
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, SABSA, Archimate
- Experience in Agile and DevOps environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
