Job description

As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will support the development and implementation of a global SDS Creation Software. You will check the data that is being processed, and spot possible errors. In cooperation with the software company, you will suggest corrections and alterations.  The main focus will be the EMEA region and when this is set up, you can expand to a global level.

You will have a lot of freedom in this role, and with freedom comes responsibility.

You will be responsible for:

  • Maintenance of regulatory and product data in cases of regulatory changes or product updates;
  • Global Item Creation/ Item Setup in the PIM system;
  • Local Item Creation / Item Setup in the ERP with focus on local requirements;
  • Check of regulatory software output; including error analysis and corrective measures, if needed;
  • Check and creation of SDS and regulatory documentation.

Candidate profile

We are looking for someone with a minimum of two years’ experience in the regulatory field of the chemical distribution or the chemical industry. You have a strong eye for detail. You like to work independently and are not reliant on existing structures; you like to make your own. You communicate well with your peers and superiors about your findings in the projects you are working on.

Your Profile:

  • A degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology or a related Science;
  • Strong regulatory knowledge in REACH, CLP, Transport legislations. Additional knowledge in food/feed, pharma etc. is considered beneficial;
  • Experience with checking SDS and other regulatory documentation and a good knowledge of MS Excel-Functions;
  • Analytical and process-oriented thinking;
  • Good communication skills and fluent in Dutch and English;
  • A Dutch or EU work permit is a must, as well as being a Dutch resident;
  • An entrepreneurial individual with a positive can-do attitude.
