Reliability Engineer
- Implement the RAMS strategy on supported products.
- Work cross-functionally to develop testing (life, ALT, HALT, HASS, Durability, etc.) to ensure that new products meet all requirements.
- Document all work using Good Documentation Practices utilizing the Quality Management System.
- Work collaboratively with all teams, including Patient Safety and Quality, to develop and improve the reliability program to guarantee the reliability and safety success of all products.
- Assist engineering teams in reducing warranty claims and improving customer satisfaction by leading reliability efforts on problem identification, root cause analysis, corrective action development, and resolution verification.
- Participate in product design and reliability reviews during product development to ensure robustness of product design and manufacturing processes.
- Perform statistical data analysis, regression modeling, Monte Carlo, Weibull Analysis, hazard analysis, reliability growth assessment and prediction, target setting, warranty trend analysis, and spending forecast for new products.
- Perform Design FMEAs on all new products and recommend design changes to improve product reliability.
- Implement Design for Reliability and Design for Six Sigma ideologies.
- Work with Manufacturing to evaluate and qualify new technologies and new processes implemented in manufacturing.
- Participate in preparing schedules and work estimates for all project assignments and activities.
- Provide technical feedback to enhance the ongoing quality of products and services.

Good working conditions
Minimum 2 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in areas such as reliability testing, Design for Reliability, developing reliability requirements, improving a reliability program, performing appropriate analyses to ensure product reliability, software quality, software testing, and/or software development, improving software reliability. Or no prior experience with a Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science.
