Do you have the reporting and controlling capabilities to hold a pivotal role in financial consolidation activities for multiple entities?
As Consolidation & Reporting Manager you oversee the financial consolidation process and prepare accurate (financial) reports for Stahl. You ensure timely month-end closing and reporting for group accounts within deadlines and ensure these activities comply with group regulations and reporting standards.
The challenging nature of this position is reflected in your inclusion as the Secretary to the Audit Committee, entailing you plan and prepare meetings, and present on reporting and governance topics. Furthermore, you prepare consolidated financial statements of the Stahl Group and monthly internal (management) reports for Stahl's Leadership Team and Board, as well as annual reports and accounts, documents, and reconciliations in accordance with IFRS.
Your responsibilities internally include frequent collaborations with local controllers and with the Group Director Controlling. You instruct and supervise local controllers of central Holding companies on periodic closings and annual budgeting and provide guidelines for reporting and auditing activities. With your extensive financial controlling and reporting experience you strengthen the informational capabilities of the organisation in all relevant aspects, all while maintaining regular contact with the external auditor. You report to the CFO.
As Consolidation & Reporting Manager, additional responsibilities include:
- Maintaining consolidation and reporting tool BPC, including user registration, account structure, legal entity structure (47 entities), and consolidation rules, and preparing monthly workflows
- Providing instructions to local controllers for month-end closing, quarterly closing, year-end closing, and annual budget, including guidelines for financial reporting, tax reporting, audit
- Preparing reports for banks and shareholders, including half-yearly extensive package in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
- Preparing the annual budget together with Group Director Controlling
- Maintaining the Stahl Accounting manual, including determining the impact of changes in reporting standards, and informing local controllers of changes
- Involvement in projects like Purchase Price Allocation, CSRD

Stahl expects the Consolidation & Reporting Manager to possess a pragmatic and proactive mindset as well as a hands-on mentality.
The ideal candidate for this position possesses the following:
- An academic level and post-master qualification (RA or equal to Dutch CPA)
- 10+ years of work experience in accounting/financial controlling in an international production or trading company or working for a Big Four auditing firm. Experience working for a Holding company as Consolidation & Reporting Specialist is preferred
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel. SAP-BPC or HFM experience is desirable
- Attention to detail and accuracy while able to identify and prioritize key issues within the context of meeting reporting deadlines
- Good knowledge of IFRS and tax accounting
- Good communication skills, both written and verbally
- Fluency in English, speaking Dutch is a plus
