We are recruiting a Benefits Specialist with focus on several European countries. You will work in an international and challenging environment and be part of the Global Benefits team, which falls under the global Total Rewards team. In this “Centre of Excellence” role, you will support the development, implementation, communication and administration of the employee benefits across Europe, mainly for the UK, France, Italy, Spain and Belgium.

Functie

Regionally

  • Initiate and support special projects to review, benchmark and design the benefit program across the European region ensuring compliance, market competitiveness and alignment to the corporate benefits strategy
  • Collaborate closely within HR as well as with the corporate staff functions, business leaders and local country stakeholders to achieve desired goals
  • Support the strengthening of the benefits governance framework and the scaling of the benefit processes/programs across the region
  • Participate in preparing materials to senior management and other internal/external stakeholders
  • Support the timely and effective renewal of the regional benefit programs including the Expatriate medical plan
  • Manage external vendors (insurers, brokers and consultants)
  • Support annual global processes on the global pension accounting and benefits budgeting

You will work together the local Dutch Human Resources team to support the benefits management in the Netherlands

  • Optimize and mature the benefits management processes and tools
  • Develop and periodic update the benefit communication materials
  • Support the broader benefit administration activities and coordinate annual/recurring benefit processes
  • Coordinate and monitor data feeds to vendors (works closely with HRIM and Payroll)
  • Manage processes to ensure quality control, validity, and accuracy of benefits census data
  • Support the year-end pension accounting and internal control/SOX processes
  • Manage vendor relationships and day-to-day activities with external consultants and insurers
  • Point person for complex and escalated benefit inquiries

Profiel

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Results oriented, analytical, self-motivated and able to work independently as well effectively collaborate in a team
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong client focus
  • High attention to detail, balanced with the ability to see the “big picture”
  • Strong project management skills and capability to work and analyse data
  • Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • At least three years of relevant benefits experience (i.e. in Europe preferable working with larger multinational companies)
  • Fluency in English is required and fluency in Dutch is highly desirable
