Howden Reciprocating and Centrifugal compressors (HCR), is a specialist supplier of tailor-made gas compression equipment to various industries. Their products have made a valuable difference for their clients for the past 100 years, and they are now looking for a Project Manager who will join their team and assist them in making a valuable difference in the century to come. As a Project Manager you are a core team member in the value stream Recips & Centrifugal that delivers new build compressor installations worldwide. You are the contact person for their customers and the team at HCR, from placing the order to the delivery and commissioning.

Functie

  • Specifies components in compressor systems according to customer requirements and HTC standards, in relation to system aspects such as process gas handling, lube oil and cooling water systems, instrumentation, drive systems and condition monitoring;
  • Receives and reviews customer feedback and implements changes after consultation of the project team;
  • Is in close contact with suppliers to come to the correct specification and implementation of required components or modules;
  • Makes sure applicable documentation with the correct information is received from suppliers and internal HTC;
  • Advices the lead engineer on potential risks in the project and proposes counter measures;
  • Is knowledge owner of one the key system domains and makes sure standards are maintained by incorporating improvement proposals.

Profiel

  • MBO+ or Bachelor degree, preferably a technical education or similar level gained through (work)experience.
  • Basic knowledge and interest in process gas/fluid handling equipment, instrumentation, drive systems.
  • Able to read drawings / PI&D and other technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of oil and gas, piping and other international norms and standards (ASME / API / ANSI / DIN) is preferred.
  • CAD drawing / draft skills (machine building / oil and gas, installation and/or related area’s).
  • Knowledge of AutoCad, Inventor, Plant 3D and/or experience with similar 2D and 3D software is required.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Fluent in Dutch is preferred.
