The Group Talent and Learning team will actively manage and drive organization-wide talent efforts of all talent management programs and processes with a focus on implementing performance management, career management, talent assessments, and succession planning and use leadership tools to lead teams and leaders to drive to performance excellence. This position will take the lead in ensuring that the Perform & Develop process creates an environment throughout the organisation in which people can perform at their best and continue to develop themselves. The Talent Manager will also provide professional expertise and support in the design, development and implementation of the talent development activities together with the Group Talent Management Director.

Accountabilities

  • Participate in organizational strategic planning with the Group Talent & Learning Development team and business HR leadership team
  • Ensure that organization-wide talent management initiatives are focused and aligned on improving operational and program efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Take ownership of the Perform & Develop policy and design principles
  • To be accountable for the process, technology and tooling which enables an effective Perform & Develop cycle
  • To define and monitor the success criteria for the adoption of Perform & Develop
  • To maintain clear and consistent messaging around the BAM approach to performance management
  • To support the Divisions of BAM in the implementation of Perform & Develop
  • To support Group HRD/HRBP with performance management for Senior Leadership Group, and coordinating input for the STI process
  • Support talent activities like Talent Reviews for the Senior Leadership Group (focus on succession; Ready-to-move lists; assessment; etc.)
  • Promote talent evaluation and development material and content to empower the business to identify and develop top talent
  • Ensure ease of internal movement of talent to build individual and organizational capability

Functie

  • Work with the Group Talent Management Director to support the main Talent activities
  • Reviewing feedback on the adoption of Perform & Develop (P&D) from the Divisions and other sources to identify areas for improvement
  • Working with the HR Data & Technology team to assess the feasibility of proposed system changes and prepare the change requests where necessary
  • Working with the Talent Managers in the Divisions to plan and resource activities to increase the adoption of P&D
  • Working with the Employee Journey Specialist to ensure that P&D is adding value to employees and to the business
  • Working with the Reporting specialists to provide reports that allow the business to monitor the KPIs relating to performance management, and to assess the level of adoption of P&D
  • Working with Learning specialists to ensure the principles of P&D, and the related personal skills, are incorporated into the Leadership / Development programmes at Group and Divisional level
  • Advising the Divisions on stakeholder engagement adoption/change management and communication in relation to P&D
  • Reviewing the P&D Policy at regular intervals and updating as necessary

Requirements:

  • Education level: Master degree
  • Field of study: HR, Psychology
  • Years of experience in a similar position: At least 5 years in a similar role focused on Performance and Talent Development
  • Years of experience in the work field: More than 10
  • Language: English
