Do you have a strong engineering background and a drive for precision and innovation? This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the creation of some of the world’s most exclusive superyachts. As a (Senior) Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, where craftsmanship and technical excellence come together.
In this position, you will take responsibility for delivering accurate, high-quality engineering output for luxury yacht projects. You will act as a technical leader within the team, fostering collaboration between disciplines and ensuring that all work meets the highest standards. Your knowledge will have a direct impact on manufacturability, feasibility, and regulatory compliance.
Your responsibilities
- Manage detailed design activities, engineering deliverables, and 3D models to secure precision and quality.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and technical direction to engineers and trainees, including conducting inspections.
- Ensure all engineering work complies with applicable regulations, classification requirements, and flag state standards.
- Collaborate with various technical departments to identify and resolve engineering challenges.
- Safeguard engineering quality by checking drawings and documentation prior to release.
- Support the improvement and development of engineering procedures, standards, and innovative methods.
- Maintain close alignment with Production, Subcontractors, and Suppliers on technical expectations and feasibility.
- Act as the primary link between Engineering and Production, with a strong focus on production support and resolving technical issues on the shop floor.

As an Engineer Production Support, you will be responsible for leading a discipline-specific engineering team, ensuring the highest quality in design and execution, and collaborating with top-tier professionals in the field.
- A competitive monthly salary ranging from €3.400 to €4.000, depending on experience and expertise.
- A total of 30 days off (25 vacation days and 5 ADV days based on full-time employment).
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer for commuting.
- A one-year contract with the intention of transitioning to a permanent position (subject to board approval).
- A motivating and high-end working environment at the forefront of luxury yacht construction.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical discipline.
- At least 3 years of engineering experience within the shipbuilding industry.
- Proficiency in 3D AutoCAD; experience with Teamcenter and Cadmatic is strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience in exterior engineering, moving equipment, and equipment integration.
- Understanding of cable and panel routing, onboard systems, and weight and budgeting processes.
- Solid technical insight into yacht construction, production workflows, and build methodology.
- An analytical mindset and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
