Senior Specialist Procurement
The Senior Specialist Procurement within our Manufacturing organization in Oss & Heist-op-den-Berg, is an essential resource responsible for a broad spectrum of support activities; including stakeholder support at manufacturing sites and supplier management mainly for Indirect procurement spaces, such as ao Facilities & MRO, but also in the biologics space.

Main Activities and Responsibilities
Sourcing:
- Develops and understands the supplier/site strategy developed by the Supply Sectors and develop & executes action plans to achieve the sourcing team’s objectives.
- Liaise with the Supply Sectors to assure site spend is in line with the agreed sourcing strategy
- Evaluating potential suppliers on site-specific issues
- Analyzing stakeholders’ business and evaluates potential savings through supplier consolidation.
- Strategic Sourcing, RFx experience - creates and executes RFI’s and RFP’s and analysis of results, wherever possible using eRFx. Understanding of Risk & Risk Mitigation and proactive planning
- Comfortable presenting sourcing strategies and sourcing awards to peers and stakeholders.
Transactional Process:
Within assigned stakeholder and supply sector area, responsible for SAP procurement data integrity/ maintenance and contracts in accordance with grants of authority guidelines.:
- Ensures that purchase agreements are in compliance with master agreements and preferred suppliers.
- Resolves discrepancies through interaction with PtP Service Center, Receiving and Stakeholders.
- Ensure efficient transactional processes for respective categories by promoting operational tools available (catalogue buying/ e-invoicing) and supply solutions (VMI)
Contract Negotiation and Management:
- Leads and participates in negotiation sessions with suppliers
- Prepares, implements and audits compliance with appropriate contract templates
- Resolves issues regarding supplier delivery assurance, quality and service, and document resolution.
- Good negotiation skills, experience with large contracts > 10M.
Analysis:
- Conducts data analysis at the local level on suppliers, supply market, cost and price of goods and services that are supplied to our company using available data.
- Responsible for risk mitigation plans. Strong Analytical Skills (Excel pivot, etc.).
- KPI Target Achievement & Reporting, including Working Capital, Diversity, Purchase Price Variance (PPV), etc. Familiar with inventory demand planning.
Continuous Improvement:
- Keeps abreast of current procurement general knowledge, procedures, and business issues in order to facilitate effective and practical solutions to client requests, concerns, and inquiries.
- Continuously learns new areas of the global procurement supply sectors, its business practices, and issues in order to provide superior support to stakeholders.
- Continuously work with local stakeholders to understand and validate their needs.
- Assists in providing feedback to the sourcing managers regarding the integration of preferred supplier alliances including the effectiveness of the stakeholder/supplier interface, problem resolution and optimization.
- Makes recommendations on how to improve the existing environment.
- Familiar with Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and & Supply Base Management.

- Attractive salary between €5.100 and €5.500, based on experience and background (P3)

Education Minimum Requirement:
- BS in Business, Finance, Engineering, Science, Supply Chain or Procurement related area
Required Experience and Skills:
- Procurement and / or knowledge of Procurement related business processes.
- Sourcing skills.
- Data mining skills.
- Strong communications skills and experience in influencing stakeholders at different levels.
- Proven ability to collaborate with a wide variety of individuals, including management, stakeholders, team members, other departments, and suppliers.
- Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Professional expertise in Procurement within a manufacturing / GMP environment (>5 years).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong Strategic Sourcing experience.
- ERP experience (SAP, Ariba, eSourcing, etc.).Coupa- is an asset
- Experience working with senior stakeholders.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical, or other manufacturing industry or matrix organization
