Stegra is driving the green transition with innovative, sustainable solutions in traditional steel markets. To support their growth, we are looking for two Sales Account Managers to strengthen customer relationships and expand their reach.

For our client Stegra, we are seeking strong candidates for two Sales Account Manager positions. One will focus on the industrial market, while the other will concentrate on the automotive sector. As Stegra continues to grow, they are expanding their sales team with these two roles to strengthen customer relationships and drive business development.

Together with their customers, Stegra is leading the green transition in the steel market. They are introducing innovative, sustainable products into a traditionally commodity-driven market that has remained unchanged for decades. By building close partnerships, they are already influencing customer behavior and shaping strategic decisions.

The Sales Account Manager will be part of the Commercial Team and report directly to the Head of Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Relationship management of existing customers and leading the onboarding and ramp-up process for a group of customers (see their press releases for a listing)
  • Build a strong sales funnel of prospective customers who value CO2-free steel and are leaders of sustainability in their respective marketplaces
  • Manage pre-sale negotiations and expectations both internally and externally
  • Lead the drafting of contracts with the support of the legal team
  • Assist the qualification processes, together with operations and technical service
  • Actively engage in market intelligence regarding supply, demand, and pricing trends
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts of sales plans for the assigned market as required
  • This position will require extensive travel
  • Multi-task in a fast-paced environment with keen problem solving and creative thinking.

Stegra is on a mission to change the global steel industry by producing green hydrogen, iron, and steel - with the goal of eliminating CO₂ emissions. Instead of coal, they use green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity, meaning their primary emissions will be water and heat.

By 2030, Stegra's ambition is to produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in their fully integrated, digitized, and sustainable plant in Boden, Northern Sweden - currently under construction. But this is just the beginning. Their expertise in green hydrogen will enable them to decarbonize industries beyond steel, paving the way for a cleaner future.

  • Enthusiastic drive to transform the steel industry into a more sustainable business
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in business or engineering related field
  • Previous experience working in sales, negotiating long term contracts. Steel experience and/or automotive experience preferred
  • Fluency in English is required, ideally proficient in additional languages as well
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity, with sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information
  • Self-driven with proven results
  • The sales team is based in the Netherlands, but you can work from Sweden. Germany, France, Belgium or the UK.
  • Regular travel (approximately 30%) is required for this position.
