Within the Engineering department, the Interior discipline is dedicated to designing and delivering every element of a superyacht’s interior. This covers everything from staircases, floors, and ceilings to fixed furniture such as bars, lounges, and other bespoke features.
As an Interior Engineer, your candidates will play a pivotal role in turning innovative interior concepts into reality aboard some of the most prestigious superyachts in the world. They will oversee the technical realisation of the yacht’s interiors, ensuring that every component, from structural elements to custom furnishings, meets exacting standards of luxury, craftsmanship, functionality, and compliance.
Key responsibilities:
- Produce comprehensive engineering plans, 3D models, and technical drawings for all interior elements.
- Guarantee that all designs meet Class, Flag, and project specifications.
- Conduct technical reviews to ensure manufacturability and efficiency.
- Anticipate and solve engineering challenges proactively.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including design, engineering, and production.

Their multidisciplinary teams work closely together to ensure seamless integration of complex systems and design details. Operating from advanced facilities in the Netherlands, the company is recognized globally for excellence in yacht design and construction.
- Competitive salary between €3.500 – €5.300 per month (based on knowledge and experience).
- 38 days off (25 vacation days and 13 ADV days for full-time employment).
- One-year contract with the intention to become permanent (subject to the decisions of the board of the company).
- Travel allowance based on €0.23 per kilometer for commuting distance.
- An inspiring work environment at the forefront of luxury yacht construction.
- A Bachelor's education in Industrial Design or a related technical study.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience as an Engineer in Shipbuilding.
- Proven experience in an engineering role focused on interiors (ideally within marine, architectural, or high-end residential sectors).
- Strong understanding of interior design principles and construction techniques.
- Proficiency in CAD software and 3d modelling tools. Preferably Autocad, Cadmatic and NX knowledge.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A passion for excellence and attention to detail.
