In this role, you will be responsible for the technical realization of specific project scopes, with a strong focus on design quality, 3D modeling, and precise engineering documentation. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring that each design is both manufacturable and compliant with all relevant industry standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Create and develop detailed engineering designs, advanced 3D models, and clear technical drawings.
- Guarantee alignment with Class and Flag regulations, as well as project-specific requirements.
- Assess the technical feasibility of designs to support efficient production processes.
- Detect and address technical challenges by offering practical solutions and improvements.
- Work alongside senior engineers, production specialists, and project managers to deliver top-tier work within project timelines.

- Competitive salary between €3.000 – €4.300 per month (based on knowledge and experience).
- 38 days off (25 vacation days and 13 ADV days for full-time employment).
- One-year contract with the intention to become permanent (subject to the decisions of the board).
- Travel allowance based on €0.23 per kilometer for commuting distance.

- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Maritime Technology, or a similar technical field.
- 1 to 3 years of engineering experience within the shipbuilding industry.
- Proficiency in 3D AutoCAD; experience with Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and Cadmatic is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A good understanding of shipbuilding production processes and construction methods.
- An eye for detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results and maintaining excellent standards.
