About this vacancy

Join the pinnacle of superyacht construction with an industry-leading yacht builder

As Project Engineer Interior, you are technically and operationally responsible for the interior engineering scope within complex superyacht projects. You lead engineers content-wise, safeguard quality, planning and manufacturability, and act as the technical interface between engineering, production, project management and the Owner’s team.

You operate in a non-standard environment where engineering decisions directly affect execution, cost and quality. This role requires technical depth, decisiveness and strong coordination skills across disciplines.

Key responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for the interior engineering scope within one or more superyacht projects
  • Development and validation of final designs, technical specifications and 3D models, compliant with Class and Flag requirements
  • Content-driven leadership, coaching and technical assessment of junior and senior engineers
  • Identification and resolution of complex engineering and production challenges
  • Close coordination with other disciplines (structure, systems, exterior, production)
  • Technical alignment with the Owner’s team on expectations, feasibility and execution strategy
  • Continuous improvement of engineering processes, standards and knowledge transfer

Are you an experienced Senior / Project Engineer with a passion for high-end yacht building? Join the prestigious team and take part in crafting world-class luxury yachts. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a discipline-specific engineering team, ensuring the highest quality in design and execution, and collaborating with top-tier professionals in the field.

  • Competitive salary between €3.800 – €5.100 per month (based on knowledge and experience).
  • 38 days off (25 vacation days and 13 ADV days for full-time employment).
  • Travel allowance based on €0.23 per kilometer for commuting distance.
  • One-year contract with the intention to become permanent (subject to the decisions of the board)
  • An inspiring work environment at the forefront of luxury yacht construction.
  • Flexible working hours in consultation with your supervisor.
  • Plenty of opportunities for personal development and training.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture, Maritime Technology, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or similar
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an engineer within shipbuilding or yacht building
  • Proven experience in leading engineers on a technical level
  • Strong understanding of yacht construction, production and installation processes
  • Experience with 3D CAD tools (AutoCAD required; Siemens NX, Teamcenter and/or Cadmatic are a strong advantage)
  • Excellent command of the English language and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
