Software Engineer position for innovative projects in the hightech industry
Your mission
- Conscientious and independent thinker who has mastered the craft of software development.
- As a (Embedded) Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and managing software components for the s ystems, especially in the real time and digital domain.
- Independently, or in a team, you design software, algorithms, and visualizations for the control of the lithography systems, supervise projects (possibly with suppliers), you diagnose and qualify
- You make adaptations, redesigns, and bug fixes in the existing software
- You will work together in a multidisciplinary environment of technicians, researchers, production and service engineers, continuously contributing to process improvement
- You draw up specifications, presentations, documentation, and test reports
- You communicate effectively and in a timely manner with academic and industrial customers; you gain insight into the customer’s application and explain this to colleagues within the R&D department
- In addition to an extensive knowledge of software, you are also interested in complex technology

Your Qualifications
- HBO or university working and thinking level, education in the direction of (technical) computer science, mathematics, or electronics
- At least 5 years’ experience
- Customer and service oriented, flexible with improvisational ability and a wide range of applications
- Good communication skills. Good command of English is necessary
- Experience with C and C++, drivers, Python and/or Javascript and Linux
- Experience with VHDL is an advantage
- Is familiar with the Agile principles, Kanban, eXtreme Programming and Clean Code
