Are you ready to lead the Moba DE office? A challenging and rewarding position at a world leader with the chance to combine hands-on sales with general management responsibilities.
You are a self-starter that can bring structure, fresh ideas and is able to build a strong team, all while achieving optimal sales results. Your team consists of a sales manager, finance manager, 3 administrative colleague’s and a team of ~15 service engineers / service supporting roles. The finance and sales manager also have a reporting line to the global functional leaders. You report to the CCO. You ideally have proven general management capabilities, like to be actively involved in sales and have experience with capital goods. The position can be summed up further with the following result areas:
General leadership
- Translate companywide ambition and strategy to ambition and strategy for the German speaking market;
- Lead by example showing exemplary teamwork and creating a company culture that inspires customers and employees, promotes improvement and innovation, and offers employees the opportunity to grow;
- Managing, coaching and motivating all team members on results, competencies and company culture;
- Responsible for optimal staffing within the set budget;
- Efficient and effective execution of all relevant processes and activities, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with overall company policy for relevant area (sales, service, HR, Finance), liaising with relevant global functional leaders.
Solution Sales & Customer Relationship Management
- Develop & sell best value solutions through consultative approach at the right price based on the customer value and the positioning relative to competition in the assigned areas;
- Ensure optimal logistics in delivery planning. Monitor delivery, invoicing and final payment;
- Contribute to the development of the solution roadmap;
- Realize optimal after sales together with the manager service;
- Stay in touch with existing customers throughout the life cycle of solutions. Regularly discuss customer satisfaction, customer business performance and development, unaddressed customer needs, new order opportunities.
Moba is world leader in innovative machines for grading, packing and processing eggs based in Barneveld, the Netherlands. With more than 950 colleagues and a history going back almost 80 years, we build the most high-quality technical systems, from design to production and from installation to service. As General Manager DE, your goal is to ensure their market and industry leading position for the long-term by delivering the most optimal total solution for their customers.
The German office is located in Lohne, Lower Saxony and is responsible for the entire German speaking market. Ever since the 1970’s this has been an important market for Moba and now, due to the nearing retirement of the current general manager we are looking for new leadership.

- 5+ years of experience in a senior sales position, proven general management capabilities;
- A Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, economics or business administration;
- You lead by example and promote entrepreneurship and accountability;
- You have a proven track record in the capital goods market or similar;
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of your time, primarily in Germany;
- You have excellent command of the German and English language in a technical and commercial setting.

- You are constantly looking for opportunities and anticipate new developments and place them in the right organizational perspective;
- You show initiative and dare to take risks without harming the company's interests;
