Drive the future of automotive displays
As a Senior Optical Engineer, you will be responsible for the complete optical design of display modules used in next‑generation automotive systems. You play a crucial role from the earliest customer inquiry up to mass production, ensuring that optical performance meets the highest industry standards.
You will work in a multidisciplinary environment and interface with internal teams, international suppliers, and customers. This role combines hands‑on optical engineering, concept development, supplier alignment, and innovation.
- Translate customer requirements into component and process requirements for optical elements.
- Design and specify optical components such as backlights, films, light guides, and optical layers.
- Perform optical simulations, verification, and validation of optical performance.
- Drive the optical release of components and complete display modules.
- Work closely with mechanical, electrical and project engineering teams throughout the development cycle.
- Collaborate with international suppliers to align optical specifications and ensure manufacturability.
- Support customer quotation phases with optical concepts, feasibility assessments and performance calculations.
- Contribute to technology development activities and propose new optical concepts.
- Help set the direction for future display architecture improvements.
- Ensure a smooth introduction of newly developed optical components into mass production environments.
- Provide technical support during ramp‑up and supplier alignment.

- Master’s degree in Optics or Physics.
- 3 years of experience
- Experience with display technology (LCD/Backlight Systems)
