IAM Engineer
We are looking for two IAM Engineers who will play a key role in the migration to the cloud environment. You will collaborate closely with both business and IT stakeholders and also support the existing SailPoint IIQ environment where needed.
Your work involves analysing requirements, coordinating with stakeholders, designing and maintaining interfaces, and ensuring that all technical and security conditions are met. You will handle incidents, requests and development tasks, and make sure issues are resolved or properly routed.
You will act as a technical sparring partner for architects, colleagues and business representatives, and you will be involved in the full release cycle — from testing to documentation and deployment.
This role requires someone who can oversee multiple processes, understands security tooling, follows IT strategy, and helps identify and mitigate risks. You should be comfortable working independently as well as in a team, and able to perform under pressure.
A large organization within the commercial sector is expanding its Digital Identity Services team, which is responsible for several key security platforms, including SailPoint, CyberArk and Auth0. As part of a broader push toward stronger governance and international scalability, various systems are being renewed or replaced.
One of the major initiatives is moving from a customized SailPoint IIQ setup to the cloud‑based SailPoint ISC environment. An external implementation partner will support this transition.
At the same time, the organization is building a Modern Data Platform (MDP) to centralize data products and modernize the data landscape. This includes developing new data products (e.g., in Snowflake) and replacing older tooling with modern interface technologies such as Axway, AirFlow/Astronomer and DBT.
Competitive salary package depending on experience.
This role concerns an interim assignment executed in salaried employment via secondment. You will be employed by YER and assigned to the client organization.
- Experience with SailPoint (preferably ISC; IIQ experience is also valuable)
- Ideally experience with migrations from IIQ to ISC
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (Repos & Pipelines)
- Skilled in testing and peer reviews
- Strong troubleshooting and data analysis skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Identifying and implementing improvements in processes and tooling
- Managing production releases and related documentation
- Developing and maintaining integrations within the identity landscape
- Monitoring system health and ensuring continuity
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum, ITIL and DevOps practices
- Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
- Understanding of SOAP/REST web services
- Knowledge of Oracle databases, Linux, PowerShell, XML, JSON, Git and ANT is a plus
