Investment Manager- Treasury Private Markets
We are looking for a commercial and technically skilled Investment Manager to join the Private Markets team. Nexent Bank is building a new Private Markets capability within Treasury, and this position sits at the heart of that ambition.
You will act as the primary originator and structurer for our diversified private credit strategy. Your mandate covers three distinct growth pillars: Fund Financing, Dutch Residential Mortgages, and Structured Secured Lending. You will transform balance sheet capacity into high-quality assets by structuring bespoke lending solutions and acting as the primary commercial owner of the relationship.
Where is your challenge?
1. Fund Financing (Capital Call) – Syndication Focus
- Execute the bank’s market entry strategy by sourcing participation opportunities from the syndication market. Your primary goal is to build a high-quality portfolio by participating in deals led by Tier-1 Global Banks
- Build deep relationships with Syndicate Desks and Loan Distribution teams at other major financial institutions. Position our bank as a reliable, fast-moving partner
- Review incoming Information Memorandums (IMs) and Term Sheets. Act as the commercial filter to select the best risk/return opportunities that fit our specific portfolio constraints
2. Dutch Mortgage Portfolio Management
- Act as the Relationship Manager for our Third-Party Originators (TPOs). Monitor their performance against service level agreements (SLAs) and origination targets
- Analyze mortgage portfolio data (prepayments, arrears, LTV distribution) to steer origination criteria, ensuring the book aligns with our ALM profile and risk appetite
- Support the structuring and execution of RMBS (Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities) transactions to optimize the bank’s funding and capital relief
3. Structured Secured Lending
- Structure and execute secured loans that fall outside standard GMRA (Repo) frameworks. This includes loans collateralized by securities (e.g., Investment Grade notes, Equities, or Corporate Bonds) via pledge structures
- Manage the end-to-end execution of these bespoke transactions, working closely with Legal and Credit to ensure robust security interests are established

- Experience: 4–7 years in Fund Finance Syndication, Loan Markets, Structured Finance, or Asset-Backed Lending
- Strong analytical and financial foundation
