This position is for a Cost Engineer to calculate reliable project costs and maintain client contact to provide accurate and tailored quotations. You will ensure that commercial and technical aspects are fully aligned with client needs.
As Cost Engineer you prepare comprehensive quotation dossiers based on precise cost calculations. You collaborate closely with engineering, project management, purchasing, and the eXperience and Systems business units to translate client requirements into preliminary designs. These designs form the basis for technical specifications, budgets, and commercial proposals. You maintain ongoing client contact, ensure quotations are delivered on time and with the desired accuracy, and hand over the sales dossier to the project team after project acquisition. Additionally, you identify and implement process improvements, such as standardised calculations and calculation tools, to optimise the quotation process.
You will join a leading electrical system integrator in the Dutch superyacht sector, active across multiple top-tier shipyards. The organisation handles complete system integration on board, including in-house and third-party systems, from design to installation and commissioning. - Salary aligned with experience under the applicable technical installation collective labour agreement

- Mbo+ or hbo level with an electrical engineering background, combined with several years of relevant experience in shipbuilding

- Proficient in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
- Sales experience is a plus but not required
