This role focuses on servicing, repairing and overhauling electrical installations on board luxury yachts and passenger vessels. You work internationally and form part of a dedicated service team based in Zaandam.
As an International Service Technician you are responsible for the inspection, overhaul and repair of electrical systems on yachts and passenger ships. You prepare project activities including documentation, detailed planning and relevant drawings. When needed, you develop or adjust technical specifications and consult with work preparation or project leaders. After each assignment you produce clear reports for both the client and internal use. The role requires frequent travel abroad within and outside Europe.
You join a major electrical system integrator within the Dutch superyacht industry, active at the highest level of yacht construction. The Service, Refit and Maintenance department operates from the Netherlands and Spain and supports both in house systems and installations from third parties. The team works on service assignments, maintenance tasks and complete refit projects, serving clients across Europe including a dedicated Mediterranean branch office.

- Completed vocational education level 4 in Engineering or Service and Maintenance
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role within a maritime environment
- Knowledge of installation methods, instrumentation, and reading technical drawings
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Customer oriented mindset
- Good command of Dutch and English in spoken and written form
