The IT & Data Benelux team is part of the global IT & Data team at Danone, with the purpose “We inspire & empower Danone through the world of tech and data” we support Danone to achieve its 2030 goals around One Planet One Health. To keep, and further develop, a high level of support to our business and IT & Data key stakeholders in Benelux, regionally and globally, the Benelux IT & Data Financial Control & Governance team is hiring an IT & Data Financial Control & Governance Analyst. Ideal candidates possess an eagerness to drive support, process improvements, accuracy and quality to the next level within Benelux.

Your Mission 

  • Be a financial process, governance and reporting Champion of the IT & Data Benelux team.
  • Manage and execute the IT & Data financial control, governance and reporting processes in an Operational Excellence way.
  • Strive for continuous improvements for the IT & Data financial governance, processes and reporting processes.
  • Assist setting up and maintaining the Finance key-stakeholders network.
  • Keep track of the Danone and IT & Data financial management guidelines, documentation and tools.
  • Provide the IT & Data Benelux teams and individuals with the right information, guidelines, documentation and training on Danone and IT & Data financial management procedures, processes and tools.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as purchase orders (PO), goods receipts (GRs), and invoice management for both CAPEX and OPEX.
  • Ensure the IT & Data Benelux teams and individuals follow the Danone and IT & Data financial management procedures, processes and tools.
  • To be able to act independently in reporting financial data on legal entity level according to the Danone reporting guidelines and making use of the Danone reporting tools.

The Benelux IT & Data Governance team manages and governs the IT & Data financial control and reporting processes, the demand and project management processes, the compliance and cyber security processes, the IT & Data supplier and contract processes, and the reporting and dashboarding for the IT & Data Benelux teams.

Functional competencies

  • Experience in a similar role or with the above-mentioned responsibility areas.
  • Good understanding of financial terminology (OPEX, CAPEX, P&L, Balance sheet, etc.) and financial process (budgeting, forecasting).
  • Familiar with SAP for purchasing, control and reporting responsibilities.
  • Coaching and supporting colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (Power BI as a plus).

General competencies

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the quality of information provided.
  • Strong motivation for continuous improvement.
  • Fast learner and team player.
  • Well-developed communication skills in English, verbally and written, on different levels of the organization.

  • Open to travel between different Danone sites in Benelux.
