In this role, you will contribute to the creation of world-class luxury yachts as a Senior Engineer, taking a leading role within a multidisciplinary engineering department. As a Senior Engineer, you are responsible for delivering high-quality, accurate, and timely engineering solutions for luxury yacht projects. You will guide and support your team, ensuring effective collaboration between disciplines while maintaining the highest standards of quality and manufacturability. Your expertise will be essential in guaranteeing that all technical aspects meet design intent, feasibility, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise final designs, detailed engineering, and 3D modeling to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of engineers and apprentices, providing technical guidance and conducting inspections.
- Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, classification society standards, and flag state requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and resolve technical challenges.
- Safeguard engineering quality by reviewing drawings and documentation prior to release.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering standards, methodologies, and innovative solutions.
- Coordinate with Production, Subcontractors, and Suppliers to align on technical specifications and feasibility.
- Provide technical and organizational support to the Senior Project Engineer as needed.

- Competitive salary between €3.700 – €6.000 per month (based on knowledge and experience).
- 38 days off (25 vacation days and 13 ADV days for full-time employment).
- One-year contract with the intention to become permanent (subject to the decisions of the board of directors).
- Travel allowance based on €0.23 per kilometer for commuting distance.
- An spiring work environment at the forefront of luxury yacht construction.
- Flexible working hours in consultation with your supervisor.
- A Bachelor or Master education in Mechanical Engineering or related study.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience as an Engineer in Shipbuilding.
- Relevant software knowledge of 3D Autocad, Teamcenter and Cadmatic
- Good command of the English language (verbal and written).
- Knowledge from and experience with exterior engineering, moving equipment and equipment integration.
- Insight into cable and panel planning, systems on board, and weight and budgeting.
- Deep technical insight into yacht building and production and construction processes.
- You’re analytical by nature and have a high standard when it comes to delivering quality and results.
