The Investment Manager will support and execute property acquisition activities across European retail outlet markets, reporting directly to the Investment Director. This role requires a professional with hands-on transaction management experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to deliver strategic insights and flawless execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of property transactions in the European retail outlet sector, from origination through to closing.
- Support deal sourcing, pipeline development, and relationship management with brokers, landlords, and investors.
- Conduct thorough financial modelling, cashflow forecasting, and scenario analysis to evaluate acquisition opportunities.
- Oversee due diligence processes, coordinating with legal, technical, tax, and financial advisors.
- Review legal documentation (SPAs, lease agreements, due diligence reports) to ensure alignment with transaction requirements.
- Active involvement in drafting and coordinating the transaction documentation, maintaining version control and audit trails
- Prepare high-quality investment committee materials, including detailed transaction packs and strategic recommendations.
- Maintain transaction trackers, reporting dashboards, and databases to ensure clear visibility of progress and risks.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and retail property dynamics across Europe to inform strategy.
- Manage internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment between investment, asset management, finance, legal, and other teams.

Your profile
- Proven track record in transaction management within the European real estate sector, with retail and outlet sector experience an advantage, and successful execution of acquisitions and/or disposals
- Extensive analyst experience (ideally 3–5+ years) in real estate investment or advisory, with a demonstrated ability to build and interpret complex financial models
- Strong quantitative skills – proficiency in DCF modelling, sensitivity analysis, and risk assessment
- Experience managing cross-border transactions and coordinating multi-jurisdictional due diligence
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks affecting real estate investment in Europe
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex analysis into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to coordinate multiple workflows simultaneously
- Commercially minded with strong attention to detail.
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple live deals under pressure
- Confident in negotiating and liaising with external stakeholders
- Collaborative team player with the ability to influence across functions
- Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing market dynamics
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or related discipline (postgraduate or CFA/CAIA/Real Estate qualification, desirable)
- Fluency in English is required for this role
