Working at a leading superyacht builder
You will be responsible for preparing cost estimates as part of proposals for custom-built, large-scale yachts. This role involves close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with client expectations, technical specifications, and all relevant national and international procedures, guidelines, laws, and regulations.
Cost Estimation
- Engage with stakeholders to clarify client requirements and technical specifications.
- Collect all necessary and relevant project information.
- Identify and communicate risks and technical challenges, proposing mitigation strategies and alternatives.
- Collaborate with Strategic Purchasing, the Project Manager Design, and other internal stakeholders to request and assess third-party quotations.
- Participate in meetings with client representatives when required.
- Develop cost estimates based on the design and prepare related sales documentation.
- Review and provide input on contractual documents.
- Maintain the project file throughout the pre-study phase.
Cost Evaluation
- Analyze and compare actual project financials against initial estimates to support continuous improvement of the cost estimation process.
Knowledge Support
- Assist project teams with system and application usage, including environment setup, library management, and reporting structures.
- Provide training, advice, and troubleshooting support to users.
Reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management based on defined key performance indicators, in accordance with applicable procedures and guidelines.

- Fluent in English.
- At least five years of experience in a similar role, particularly in cost estimation or project control.

- Strong competencies in problem-solving, perseverance, and working independently.
