Become a Test Engineer and help build and validate high-voltage EV charging systems for the next generation of heavy-duty electric trucks.
As a Test Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of high-voltage EV charging systems for heavy-duty electric trucks. You will be responsible for building, testing, and calibrating prototypes and functional samples in a high-tech environment. This hands-on role involves close collaboration with design engineers and other internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality, validated product performance.
Working On:
- High Voltage Junction Boxes (HVJBs) used in megawatt charging systems (up to 850V / 1300A)
- Innovative, compact solutions that integrate contactors, fuses, and controllers for electric trucks
- Custom-made components designed to meet demanding thermal and safety performance requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble prototypes and samples using technical drawings or sketches.
- Perform functional testing and calibration of parts and products, using computer-controlled test equipment.
- Record and report test results clearly and accurately.
- Modify or build custom tools and fixtures when required.
- Ensure high-quality standards throughout the build and test process.
- Support continuous improvement of test processes and documentation.

- Monthly salary between €3,200 and €3,400, depending on experience

- Technical Bachelor’s degree (BSc) or equivalent experience.
- Experience with prototype and sample build processes in a high-tech environment.
- Strong affinity with both electrical and mechanical engineering.
- Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Skilled in Microsoft Office.
- Proactive mindset, able to set priorities and work independently.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work well with multidisciplinary teams and internal stakeholders.
