As Finance Controller, you will support decision-making through budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for one of our Leadership Areas. Your work will help strengthen financial processes and enable sustainable growth across the IKEA value chain.
Reporting to the Finance Control Manager, you will play a critical role in enabling the business to prioritize and deliver on its objectives. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and the financial reporting process for one of Inter IKEA’s Leadership Areas. You will collaborate closely with Business Navigation Managers and other stakeholders to ensure high data quality and support key financial processes in your area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Budgeting and forecasting: Preparing, monitoring, and analyzing budgets and financial forecasts;
- Drive financial reporting (monthly, quarterly and annual) and provide insights that support business decisions;
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for a designated Leadership Area;
- Ensure high quality of financial data and continuous improvement of reporting accuracy;
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business;
- Identify trends, root causes, and implement corrective actions where needed;
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both finance and non-finance stakeholders;
- Process improvement: Identifying and implementing more efficient financial processes and systems.

You have:
- Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting or equivalent;
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a Finance Controller / Accounting role;
- Proficiency in tools such as SAP-BPC, SAP-SAC, and Power BI;
- Strong command of English (both verbal and written);
- A strategic mindset, capable of breaking down complex problems and presenting them clearly;
- Excellent relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels;
- A proactive and solution-oriented attitude with a drive for continuous improvement;
- Solid understanding of stakeholder management principles;
- Strong analytical skills and a sharp eye for detail
It's a plus if you:
- Have previous experience working at or with an IKEA company.
