As a Test Engineer with development skills, you are passionate about technology and have an eye for detail. You enjoy working with your team to deliver high-quality software by performing thorough testing and developing automated testing solutions. You have experience with Linux OS and Python and are always on the lookout for that one edge case where a bug might be hiding. You thrive in an agile environment and are driven to continuously learn and improve yourself.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Running tests to ensure high quality software, including identifying edge cases where bugs may occur.
- Developing and maintaining (semi-)automated testing tools to improve the efficiency and coverage of our tests.
- Working in a Linux environment and using Python to implement test automation.
- Collaborate with developers and other team members to gain a good understanding of the software and develop effective testing strategies.
- Contribute to the agile development cycle by actively participating in scrum sessions and retrospectives.
- Document test results and communicate findings to the team in a clear and concise manner.
- Work independently and take initiative to improve the quality of the final product.
We create and integrate state-of-the-art application software, for example for operating equipment, image and data analysis, process management, and providing insight into information. The focus is on user-friendliness, quality, innovation speed, and cost efficiency. This way, our application software team supports clients in industries such as semiconductor, medical, defense, and analytical industries in developing and bringing to market distinctive and competitive products.
- Salary between €3.500,- and €6.000,- gross per month
- Permanent contract
- 25 holiday days, possibility to buy extra

What You Bring
- You have completed a technical education at college or university level.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Test Engineer in a software development environment. Experience with Linux OS and preferably knowledge of Python.
- Good communication skills in English.
- You have a critical and analytical attitude with a strong focus on quality.
- Experience in an agile/scrum development environment.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
