As an Installer you participate in installing and qualifying complex Machine Support Frame installations. You can install and qualify individual components independently, have a hands-on mentality that keeps a proactive approach throughout the process, also when setback occur. You carry out day to day install tasks and position yourself as a team player with a strong customer focus and satisfaction. 

The company develops and realises solutions to enable ultra-precision machines such as semiconductor chip machines to produce optimally. Everything that can disturb ultra-precision systems is controlled by our systems. We make proto-types mainly in Eindhoven and produce in (semi) series in Enschede.

Tasks/responsibilities/authorities:

  • Participates in planning, technical, safety and qualification aspects connected to complex frame installations with a strong emphasis on safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Setup and operates Leica Absolute Laser trackers via Spatial Analyzer software
  •  Setup and operate Spectests/Specguard/ICM qualification hardware .
  • Helps keeping the entire workplace and toolbox clean, well-organized and safe to reduce waste and optimize the productivity.
  • Carries out individual install tasks independently in a safe and correct way.
  • Is capable of interpreting high-level technical drawings/documentation and work instructions.
  • Controls the quality aspects of the individual tasks.
  • Fills out the qualification parameters and send these timely and structured to engineering and manager installations.
  • Assist in preparing installations in alignment with Support Technician and HQ to make sure all pre-install requirements have been fulfilled to guarantee a smooth start.
    • Access registration hardware. (Leica, laptops, spectest)
    • Access registration team members.
    • Toolbox and Leica availability.
    • SOP, install drawings, sheets, work instructions, crane certificates.
    • Safety equipment available (helmets, gas masks, filters, gloves, goggles, headlight, harness, safety lines)
    • Site preparations (platform ladder, pit open, VBP area accessible, pallet truck)
  • Identifies (safety) risks and dangerous situations and reports about them.
  • Supports in site surveys following detailed checklist/instructions provided by Mecal HQ.
  • Focus on Risk Management, Quality, HSE, Continuous Improvement of processes with the aim to meet customer requirements and improve processes.
  • Supports customer during move-in, if required by the customer. Prioritizes the move-in sequence to optimize install start (place first use heavy products underneath the crane)
  • Is a good representative to the customer (with regard to behaviour and dress code)
  • Participate in internal and external audits, if required.
  • Comply with all applicable standards, laws, legislations and regulations.
  • When no installs maintenance and support work can be aligned.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by management.
