What are you going to do?

As a senior Cloud Expert in Google Cloud;

You think along and help with migrations of the On Premises environments to the Cloud. With your proven experience, you advise the team, in making the right decisions. As a SME, you are partly responsible for the platform "GKE, AKS, APP Services, SecOps, etc. You create and improve monitors, health checks, policies, pipelines etc. Together with the (lead) architects you determine Roadmap of the department.

You will be working as a Cloud Expert in the Cloud & Integration Competence Center.

Minimum qualifications:

• Preference for relevant certifications: GCP Professional Cloud Architect
• Experience in designing Cloud Landing Zones (Google Cloud)
• Experience in implementing security controls and threat protection, identity and access management, defining organizational structure and policies, using GCP technologies in order to provide data protection, configuring network security defenses, collecting and analyzing logs, managing incident responses, and an understanding of regulatory concerns.
• 5 years of experience in program/project management, with a focus on consulting projects.
• Experience in compute infrastructure (servers, databases, firewalls, load balancers) with architecting, designing, and delivering solutions.
• Experience in networking, security, containerization, or DevOps in system landscapes.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure automation such as DevSecOps, infrastructure-as-code, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery, software-defined networking, containerization (Kubernetes), or serverless.
• GCP knowledge like BigQuery, Airflow, API etc
• Google Compute | Big Data & Machine Learning | Security & Identity
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred qualifications:

• MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field.
• Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: GKE, software development (additionally Terraform), managing large scale Windows/Linux environments, network design and deployment, databases, storage systems.
• Experience in networking and system design of load balancers, firewalls, and VPN in architecting, developing and/or maintaining production-grade systems.
• Experience in customer-facing Google Cloud migration, including service discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and operations.
• Experience with large-scale distributed data processing systems with one or more technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Hadoop, Spark, HBase, Vertica, Netezza, Teradata, Tableau, or MicroStrategy).
• Experience in data engineering
• Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
