Software Tester (manual)
Your challenge is to test new and maintenance releases of the software of a medical device used to assess and analyse the patient's haemodynamic status during interventional cardiac procedures. You will design and implement the optimal testing approach for our software with both manual and automated tests by applying your testing competences and using input from other disciplines (software development team, system architect and fellow test engineers). Besides testing our software, you also test interfaces of our software with other medical devices and perform release testing on hardware.
Our client is a leading company in healthcare technology.
The first year will be under contract with YER, after which you will have the option to convert to this company. We offer:

- Bachelor/master's degree in relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated knowledge at ISEB/ISTQB Foundation level,
- Experience with software testing in regulated industries such as medical, aerospace, defence or automotive. Experience with test automation preferred.
- Understands and has experience with the high documentation workload associated with releasing a regulated product.
- Experience within an Agile/SCRUM development environment; able to act as a tester in the various team processes associated with the Scrum methodology.
- Strong quality drive and ownership with the ability to work effectively with cultural differences and foreign development teams (multi-site development/testing).
- Strong communication skills, a good listener, and who can influence others without authority
