Back-end Java developer to help the Master data management solution to become more efficiënt and better served to the customers.
In the role of (EBX) Back-end Java Developer, you contribute to the most enjoyable shopping experience by:
- Playing an important role in extending new functionality in our Master Data Management Solution, on both our monolithic (Tibco EBX) and Microservice architecture (Azure);
- Writing maintainable and clean code that you continuously test;
- Reviewing each other’s code and trying to learn from each other;
- Being familiar with working Agile in sprints of two weeks;
- Being experienced in creating and managing issues in Atlassian Jira.
You will become part of the Jumbo Tech Campus: our IT organization of more than 350 international professionals. As an Agile team, we are committed to the sprint work and in close collaboration work side by side with consultants, developers, testers, Scrum Master, and Product Owner. In your role as a Backend Java Developer, you have:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Java Backend Developer;
- Experience with Java 8 or newer;
- Experience with Apache Tomcat or an equivalent Java application server;
- Experience with DevOps tools such as GIT, Maven, and Azure DevOps;
- You are a software craftsman. You care about the code you write, and you promote software development best practices and principles within the team and the department.
It would be great if you are familiar with:
- TIBCO EBX
- SOAP and REST
- TIBCO EBX Java API
- Java Spring Boot, which we use in Microservices.
- Writing extensions within enterprise applications (MDM/CRM/ERP)
