No clicking in the cloud X but deep-dive into the core infra-layers
We are looking for a highly motivated person with a solid background in agile software engineering to increase the level of automation, further extend our CI/CD flows in Kubernetes based environments and maintenance on our cluster infrastructure applications.
BACKGROUND:
- Project migration from Vanilla Kubernetes to Openshift (both on premise)
- Improve the efficiency of our environments and applications.
SKILLS:
- Containerization related technologies like Kubernetes (Must have) and Openshift (nice to have).
- at least 5 years of experience in CI/CD Pipelines, Kubernetes application development
- Focus on plain Kubernetes on premise, no focus on Amazon/Azure DevOps clouds!!
- Experience with Helm charts, automation tools like ArgoCD, GitOPS, Jenkins and Ansible approach
- Experience with:
- Kubernetes Edge and non-edge - solutions
- Kubernetes Security functions

TASKS
- Migration of applications and test setup from Linux based Kubernetes environment to Openshift.
- Improve application security by introducing Service Mesh, Pod Admission Policies, Network Policies and whitelisting of secure artefacts (images)
- Maintain the monitoring and logging components.
- Workout improvements to improve efficiency of alerting and cluster resources.
- Version updates and upgrades on our infrastructure applications
- Support our customers in migrating their application projects to Kubernetes and Openshift
- Language Skills: Fluent English, German a nice to have.
