Do you have experience with project and change management in the high-tech industry? Then the position of Project Management Officer at this international organization in Venlo might be a new challenge for you!
In the Project Management Officer position, you will be responsible for two focus areas within the company. These are the implementation and improvement of an ongoing change management process & the development and implementation of a migration process. To perform these tasks well, a proactive, analytical and solution-oriented attitude is expected. With your hands-on mentality and affinity for systems, you can work well both independently and as part of a team.
Focus Change Management Process
The product released by this organization is manufactured in Thailand, but the R&D takes place in Venlo. All changes regarding the parts/BOM structure of this product, must be reported to the Thailand facility. A special communication process between the locations is used for this purpose. You are able to master the process and take responsibility for the entire change management. In this regard, it is helpful if you have knowledge of 2D part drawings and BOM structures. Need more training to perform optimally? That will be taken care of!
Focus Migration Process
In addition, the company is going to start a new process in which the current machine BOM structures will be migrated from LiMO to Siemens Teamcenter Unified Architecture (the new PLM system). In this migration process, you will be the linking pin between the management team and the department. As Team Lead you will be responsible for the collaboration with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers during the execution of the migration. You also oversee the testing and implementation of migration procedures and feedback to the IT team. Within the whole process you will look for improvement points and solutions to make the project a success. To complete the project completely, you create the documentation and manuals so that end users can use the system with ease.
You will be working at a high-tech company specialized in (industrial) printers. Traditionally a family business and now taken over by a corporate organization from Japan. You will work in an informal team with short lines of communication, enabling you to make an impact. The most important core values are innovation, challenge, openness, fun and impact.
- A contract for 32-40 hours per week
- Possibility to work hybrid
- A laptop and phone to get around well
- 25 vacation days, 13 ADV-days and 8,33% vacation pay
- A gross salary between €3100 and €4200 per month depending on experience
- Bachelor degree
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and automation
- Good knowledge and experience with Siemens Teamcenter is preferred
- Some technical knowledge and insight is favorable
- Experience with JIRA is desirable
