Test automation engineer for web applications
• You define test strategy for testing our front- and back-end components.
• Align test efforts with other test automation engineers across all development teams.
• Ensure tests keep running continuously in our CI environment (Bamboo).
• Actively collaborate with the team and review new stories/requirements.
• Identify the test scenarios, write test cases and execute those.
• Be part of the cross-disciplinary development team and work together towards a shared goal.
We supply worldwide sales & services for the marine and decentralized power industry. We have around 900 employees working in the Netherlands on our seven locations across the country.
We operate in three different business units: Marine Solutions, Energy Solutions and Services.
1. Marine Business - Total Ship Power Supplie
As a maritime service provider with a full range of supplies, We are a one-stop shop for ship owners. We supply everything from propellers to full engine propulsion systems.
2. Services - Full Service Provider
We offer service packages that go far beyond simple maintenance and repair of diesel engines and propulsion systems. We also provide electro technical, control and automation services in a variety of forms.
3. Energy Business
We are a leading supplier of power plants for the decentralized energy market. We provide base load and peak load power plants, as well as individual plants for large-scale industrial operations.

Mandatory:
- You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in the area of Computer Science or at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience with automated testing on all levels
- Certified in ISTQB or TMAP.
- Comfortable with mocking and stubbing concepts.
- Ability to inspire developers with regards to testing.
- You have experience in Java and/or TypeScript
- Experience with Selenium for testing UI web applications
Nice to have, experience with:
- Cypress is a plus
- Performance and/or load testing is plus
- Python is a plus
- Behavior Driven Development (BDD) is a plus
- SQL and noSQL data bases is a plus.
- Docker, Kubernetes and AWS is a plus
- Linux is a plus
- Contract-testing (with PACT) is a plus
