Today's charging stations are packed with complex electronics and are increasingly DC-powered. You also have to deal with a wide range of requirements in different countries. No problem, you like a challenge! As a Test Engineer, you are busy every day testing the latest innovations against the corresponding standards. At Consumer Safety, we work with a team of experts. Our international customer base is very diverse and so are the products we test.

Responsibilities:
• You will perform tests independently, spending ± 60% of your time in the lab;
• Performing safety assessments based on international standards or riskbased testing;
• You will assess documentation related to safety;
• Preparing reports on your (preliminary) test results;
• You regularly consult with the project manager and with the client about progress, and anticipate this; Drawing up the certificates;
• You will work on multiple projects simultaneously in the lab.
What we expect from you:
• A completed education in electrical engineering;
• You have experience in measuring electrical equipment;
• You can easily switch between the various projects;
• You are a good communicator;
• You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages;
• If you have knowledge of the international standard IEC 61851, this would be a big plus;
