In this role, you will have the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the Project Manager Engineering, you are responsible for overseeing and ensuring the timely availability of all engineering documents pertaining to your assigned technical discipline. This discipline may encompass Construction, Outfit, Systems, Piping, Electrical, and Interior. Our approach to assigning Engineering Coordinators takes into account the primary expertise of each employee.
- Your duties include developing detailed plans and delivery schedules for engineering documentation in collaboration with your manager and relevant third parties. As the main point of contact for Regulatory Authorities, Owner’s Representatives, Designers, and Subcontractors, you monitor daily progress, address planning and progress issues, and coordinate adjustments among all stakeholders. You also provide instructions to third parties on standards and working methods while maintaining seamless information flow internally and externally.
- With a focus on achieving results, you organize and plan work effectively to ensure timely goal attainment. Collaborating closely in a co-makership model with our Partners, you identify and implement synergies based on your expertise and mutual respect.
- Furthermore, you take on a leadership role by guiding, developing, and motivating a team of in-house professionals assigned to your function.

- Higher Vocational Education or Secondary Vocational Education with relevant work experience (mbo+) in the respective discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably in the maritime or yacht building industry.
- Demonstrate competencies in decisiveness, persuasiveness, and customer orientation.
- Possess a holistic view of the entire process and an ability to understand the big picture.
- Be a proud and passionate technical professional with a strong desire for continuous learning.
- Proactively approach problem-solving with a proactive mindset.
- In-depth knowledge and experience within your technical specialization.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, AutoCAD, and/or Rhinoceros.
- Good command of both written and spoken English.
