Working at a leading superyacht builder.
As a Lead Engineer you are part of one of their inspiring project teams, responsible for realizing the yachts.
You report to the Engineering Coordinator. Leveraging your specialized and in-depth technical knowledge, you will review and discuss Project Development information and delineate work processes during the pre-construction phase. The Lead Engineer focuses on and possesses profound expertise in a specific technical discipline, which includes construction, outfit, systems, piping, electrical, and interior.
Throughout the engineering process, you will oversee the quality of engineering work, ensuring the accurate interfacing and integration of all data across various disciplines. This involves ensuring the timely production of accurate plan drawings and technical specifications in accordance with the Building Specification, as well as all relevant standards, design codes, rules, and regulations. You will review and approve engineering documentation, ensuring the completeness of the scope. If necessary, you will proactively address and resolve complex technical issues and monitor subsequent actions to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality output.
Your role also involves organizing work activities to achieve set goals within specified timelines. You will collaborate closely with the partners in a cooperative co-makership, identifying and implementing synergies based on your expertise and mutual respect.

- Completion of Higher Vocational Education (Bachelor) or Secondary Vocational Education with relevant work experience (mbo+) in the respective discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably in the maritime or yacht building industry.
- You embody the following competencies: Analytical, persuasive, result-oriented, and a passionate team player who takes pride in their work.
- Proactive and solution-oriented in your approach to tasks.
- As a proud and passionate team player, you are eager to learn and contribute.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, AutoCAD, and/or Rhinoceros.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
