The Warehouse Supervisor will be a core member of our Operation Team that delivers improvements, quality and completeness that meets customer tomorrow’s needs. The purpose of the role is to coordinate and be responsible for all activities and processes!

What needs to be done?

  • Coordinate and be responsible for the daily operations within warehouse and packaging.
  • Advise Manager Shop in logistics improvements and cost saving projects.
  • Control and where possible improve administrative and logistical material flow within logistics (Inbound, storage and outbound).
  • Reduce inventory items while ensuring continuity.
  • Timely delivery of materials to the Shop, Repair & Retrofit and shipping.
  • Initiating improvements within both warehouse and administrative processes.
  • Monitoring progress and quality of the work of the warehouse processes and related administrative actions.
  • Advising the Manager Shop in required training, education and qualification of personnel.
  •  Reporting daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s.
  •  Managing fixed and temporary employees on cost-conscious.

Howden Reciprocating and Centrifugal compressors (HCR), is a specialist supplier of tailor-made gas compression equipment to various industries. Our products have made a valuable difference for our clients for the past 100 years, and we are now looking for a Warehouse Supervisor who will join the team at their location in Rheden and assist them in making a valuable difference in the century to come to capture our growth opportunities in the renewable hydrogen market!

What do you need to bring?

  • Relevant business administration or logistics background (minimal MBO-level) by education or work experience.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean process improvements and Problem Solving.
  • Creativity to find the best solution (thinking out of the box).
  • Methods and techniques for the responsible presentation of results and findings: reports and presentations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills incl. an open and engaging communication style.
  • Team player, responsible and a self-starter.
  • Fluency in English, Dutch and German is a pre.
