To support the projects and technology development, we are looking for a well-qualified HIL Modeling and Integration Engineer.
Job description
Primary responsibility is to take ownership over the engine and aftertreatment models to be used for
Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation. This will include the following tasks:
- GT-Suite Real Time powertrain model development
- Control model development for integrated models
- Perform system level simulations and optimization on desktop
- Perform simulations on HiL to test proper integration of the model
- Support on HIL integration activities for example I/O integration and sensor and actuator
- simulation
- Cooperate with other HIL expertise’s within DAF/PACCAR
As HIL Modeling and Integration Engineer you will be part of the simulation team where your
involvement, opinion and HIL point of view is needed to define the most efficient way of modeling.

Candidate profile
- BSc or MSc degree in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 3 year experience with engine and/or aftertreatment simulation and testing activities
- Experience with Hardware in the Loop systems
- This person has the following competences
- Analytical capacity
- Quality oriented
- Cooperative and working independently when needed
- Attention to details and debugging
