Do you want to work for MMD, manage and create a variety of marketing content for Philips products for global usage? You will be based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where you will manage/create global marketing content for Philips monitors & IT accessories. This content includes but is not limited to product presentations, feature naming, global press announcements, leaflets, and articles. The role will consist mainly of liaising with the Philips brand committee, to make sure all content follows the brand guidelines, and working with the Product Marketing team to communicate key product specs. Furthermore, you will identify regional needs, provide solutions and exude a common marketing message across the regions.
MMD is a wholly owned company of TPV established in 2009 through a brand licence agreement with Philips. It exclusively markets and sells Philips-branded LCD displays worldwide. By combining the Philips brand promise with TPV’s manufacturing expertise in displays, MMD uses a fast and focused approach to bringing innovative products to market. MMD serves worldwide markets from major regional offices in Amsterdam, Prague, Shanghai, Singapore, São Paulo and Fremont (EPI. Through its network of local sales teams, MMD works with all major IT distributors and resellers. The company’s design and development centre is located in Taiwan.
You will work in a new, full-time global position (3 days from our refurbished European HQ in Amsterdam, opposite Amsterdam Amstel station, and 2 days from home). Relocation to Amsterdam is possible. The working environment is entrepreneurial, dynamic, challenging, and international, and you will work with great brands in a flat organization characterized by rapid decision-making.
You are an English (near) native speaker and feel comfortable in an international environment. Furthermore, you are able to work autonomously and set priorities. You have a positive, proactive and self-motivated attitude and great problem-solving competences. Other requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing and/or communications or a similar level achieved through another form of training or experience
- At least 4 years of experience, including a proven track record in content marketing – preferably with a technical background
- Proven track record in copywriting
- Project management skills and ability to interact with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to implement communication plans
