Trade Accountant

De positie

As Trade Accountant, you’re the key link connecting complex commodity trading with financial integrity. Your work ensures accurate, transparent trading results, clean and audit-ready systems, and robust internal controls, backed by strong communication and stakeholder collaboration.

Your responsibilities:

• Own accurate booking of trading P&L during month-end close
• Keep trading systems efficient, reconciled, and audit-ready
• Lead execution of monthly controls, and field internal/external audit inquiries
• Partner on continuous finance improvement, process automation, and reporting optimization

Wat breng jij

• 5+ years of financial accounting experience (energy or trading is a plus)
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Strong understanding of commodities trading and audit processes
• Fluency in English, Dutch is a plus
• Ability to communicate clearly and build relationships across teams
