YER is looking for a Managing Consultant Germany to expand its business scope: after the Netherlands, Belgium and the United States, YER will now be bringing together clients and professionals in Germany as well. In this new role, you will be responsible for starting up the business in southern Germany, with a focus on secondment in an Engineering and/or IT environment. About the job

In the role of Managing Consultant Germany, you will be the linchpin between clients and professionals. You will operate as a business and sparring partner who supplies the client with suitable secondment solutions. With your network and knowledge of the region (southern Germany) and of the sector, you will immediately deliver added value. This value will form the basis of your success. After you have successfully introduced prospects and clients to YER, you will shift the focus more to expanding the team. You will gather a team of driven, ambitious consultants around you, and this team will further market YER. You will book success in this job by taking on the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • raising the profile of YER through your network, experience and acquisition skills
  • creating, maintaining and expanding a client and candidate portfolio
  • creating and leading a team of Consultants
  • smooth mediation between clients and candidates: you are a top-class discussion and sparring partner
  • identifying market opportunities and responding to these proactively

YER is looking for a Managing Consultant Germany with a commercial mindset and a hands-on mentality. You are a result-focused entrepreneur with a winner’s mentality. You excel in an environment with freedom, room for initiative and responsibility. You also bring leadership abilities: you are able to build a team and motivate and inspire its members. The ideal candidate also meets the following criteria:

  • at least 4 - 7 years of relevant work experience in the field of Secondment in Engineering and/or IT
  • as a minimum, higher education or equivalent ability, shaped in part by a completed higher professional education programme and/or experience
  • preferably experience with leading/building a team
