The position
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you are responsible for supporting, improving and safeguarding production processes within a high-tech manufacturing environment. You play a key role in product life cycle management and ensure that product changes, improvements and new introductions are implemented smoothly and in a controlled manner within the factory.
You work closely with production, development, quality and other stakeholders and are regularly present on the shop floor. After release to volume production, you remain accountable for continuous improvements.
Your responsibilities include:
- Creating and maintaining work instructions, tooling and production processes
- Preparing and implementing product changes through Life Cycle Management
- Executing equipment, software and process validations
- Providing second-line production support and troubleshooting
- Performing root cause analyses for DOA and MOA issues and implementing structural solutions (8D, PR)
- Analysing and improving process performance using data, SPC and Six Sigma methodologies
In addition, you support New Product Introductions, participate in audits and initiate improvement projects focused on efficiency, quality and yield.

About you
You are proactive, quality-driven and comfortable taking ownership in a dynamic production environment.
You bring:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar
- Around 2 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering within a high-tech environment
- A hands-on mindset and strong skills in technical documentation
- Experience with quality systems and methodologies such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FMEA, 8D and SPC
- Experience with SAP MES and Windchill is a plus
- Strong communication skills, able to interact with operators, engineers and management
